| Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Opens Up Bush Camp To All Guests
Starting on March 24th, 2007 Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has opened its kid's program, Bush Camp to all guests. Bush Camp, a 3 hour experience for kids ages 6-14, will teach kids about African Culture through games, activities, food and crafts. The children will also get to explore animals on the savannah, and "play along" with a character from "The Lion King". The cost for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Bush Camp is $70 plus tax per child and hours are from 1:00pm to 4:00pm every Saturday. You must guarantee your reservation with a credit card. You must cancel more than 24 hours in advance for a refund. $20 of the cost is donated to the Wildlife Conservation Fund. DVC members receive a 10% discount. South Africa: Scientists Share Ideas on Managing Kruger Park
About 200 scientists, researchers and conservationists are meeting this week to share new ideas on how to manage the Kruger National Park. The fifth annual Science Network Meeting began in Skukuza Monday where delegates have been discussion veld fires, implications of providing artificial water sources and managing the human impact on the savannah. .
Former champ to lead 30 drivers in KCB Rally
Two-time national champion, Lee Rose, will lead 30 drivers in the KCB Visa Card Rally scheduled for Sunday. Rally Sports Club will run the event at the East Africa Portland Cement quarry. Rose, the 1983 motor sportsman-of-the-year and champion in 2003 and 2004, will be off the ramp first navigated by Piers Daykin in a Mitsubishi EVO 8. The Condemned co-stars Vinnie Jones (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, X-Men: The Last Stand) and Rick Hoffman (Hostel), and is produced by Joel Simon and executive produced by Vince McMahon, Michael Lake and Jed Blaugrund. In this action-packed thrill ride, Austin plays Jack Conrad, a death-row prisoner in a corrupt Central American prison who is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer to take part in an illegal reality game show. Brought to a desolate island, Conrad finds himself trapped in a fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world.
